Odds on the San Francisco 49ers With Jimmy G Back at the Helm

(Panama City) - Reports have surfaced saying that some coaches and players within the 49ers' organization believe their team is better with Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm.

Well, the betting odds back that notion as well.

Going into the season, when Trey Lance was entrenched as San Francisco's starter, the 49ers had 18-1 Super Bowl odds at SportsBetting.ag. They were 9-1 for the NFC and +155 to take the division.

All of those odds (below) have improved behind a Week 2 victory, and Jimmy G under center.

In other topical NFL news, the odds suggest Kenny Pickett will be starting for the Pittsburgh Steelers very soon. As in, within the next few weeks soon.

Mitch Trubisky has been taken off the board to be the first quarterback benched because the Pickett odds suggest he will be the first to go, so now Marcus Mariota, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield are the favorites.

Finally, there are some fresh odds for the first head coach fired. Indy's Frank Reich has gone from the fourth-lowest odds at the outset of the season to the second favorite.
