Brady's Back! Puts Players Minds at Ease

Without Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Bucs are mostly nothing, at least not potential Super Bowl champs.  The books currently have Tampa with the second shortest odds to win the 2023 Super Bowl.  Countless sports bettors have already placed their futures.

But Brady had been away from the team for an extended period of time under mysterious circumstances.  On Tuesday, he returned.  And, more importantly, he hasn't skipped a beat.

"If anybody can get away with the 11-day break during training camp, it's Tom," tight end Cameron Brate said. "He came back, kind of firing on all cylinders again. We're all excited he's back and ready to move on."

Head coach Todd Bowles said the break had been planned since well before the start of training camp last month.

"His presence is different, just the leader he is, the type of guy he is," linebacker Lavonte David said. "It's great to have a guy like that back. He came back ready to take off where he left off."

Tom Brady futures are also up.

The books have him with an Over  35½  Passing TDs for the regular season and 8-1 to win regular season Most Valuable Player.
