Study Shows Amount of Hype for Every NFL Team Heading Into 2022 Inbox

We’re three weeks away from the start of the NFL regular season, and at this point, most faithful fans think their team has a chance to contend.

So, which fanbase is proclaiming, “This is our year,” the most on social media? If you guessed the Cowboys (it’s a great guess), you’d be wrong.

BetOnline.ag compiled Twitter data over the last 60 days, tracking nearly 800,000 "optimistic" tweets such as "Cowboys will win the Super Bowl," "Patriots will take the division," "This is our year," "Vikings Super Bowl bound," etc.

Numbers are based on the percentage of "optimistic tweets" from the total number of tweets about each team during the timeframe. So, for example, 7.42% of all tweets about the Bills were optimistic, while only .69% of tweets mentioning the Commanders were optimistic.
