Cleveland Browns Win Total Futures Pulled Amidst Watson Suspension

The Cleveland Browns futures odds for regular season wins totals have been yanked following news that troubled quarterback Deshaun Watson will be serving a six-week suspension.

The decision was announced Wednesday morning.  The NFL has three days to appeal the decision by disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson.

Watson will not receive pay during his time out.  The NFL star recently settled 23 of 24 lawsuits filed by women alleging sexual harassment and assault during massage therapy appointments in 2020 and 2021.

Watson signed a fully guaranteed $230 million, five-year contract, during the offseason.  He will replace Baker Mayfield, who will now be playing with the Carolina Panthers.

The Browns signed former first-rounder Josh Rose to replace Watson in the event a suspension was handed down.

Oddsmakers at BetOnline will likely have Cleveland last to win the AFC North division.
