Don’t look now but the former world’s number one golfer Tiger Woods is playing some of his best golf in quite some time.  While the oddsmakers came into this week’s Masters down on Woods (offering him up at 20-1 odds), gamblers provided him with the second most action after current leader Jordan Spieth.

“This Masters competition could prove to be an absolute blood bath for the books if either Spieth or Woods were to win,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Woods was off to a strong start on Saturday having achieved four birdies on the front nine propelling him to 5th place on the leaderboard.

Spieth made history Friday by breaking a 39-year-old record by tapping in for par and a 6-under 66 and breaking the 36-hole record at the Masters.

Betting on this year’s Masters will be available shortly after Saturday’s play and conclude Sunday morning.
