WagerWeb.com had your latest golf odds for the top English player to win the 2012 Open Championship.  WagerWeb.com was offering up to US$1000 in FREE CASH to qualified customers.

Lee Westwood was at 2/1 odds, Luke Donald was at +215 or offering a potential payout of US$21.50 for every US$10 bet, Justin Rose would pay out US$35 on a US$10 bet while Ian Poulter was being offered up at 50/1 odds.

Donald was feeling especially confident about winning The Open Championship.  His odds to win outright were set at 14/1.

"I feel like I did a lot of good work in the last two weeks," Donald said. "And I felt quite comfortable in the competition last week at the Scottish Open. I hit a lot of very solid tee shots, and that's exactly what you need to do around here."

He went on: "I do like this course. I think it's set up great. It's very fair, but it's very tough. It's certainly going to produce the guy who plays the best because there's no escaping some holes; you've just got to step up there and hit good tee shots.

"You aren't going to find lucky lies in the rough. You're not going to be able to get to the greens from the bunkers. It's about hitting fairways, hitting greens, and hopefully I can do that."

A real live dog would be the likes of a Justin Rose, paying $35 for every $10 bet.

"I feel good about everything. I had a good session with Sean on the range," he said.

"I hit a few shots left in France and wasn't that happy and I just cleaned it up a little bit.

"This course is set up well but you have to drive the ball well and it is a ball-striking test this week.

"I felt I got into a really good mind-set in France so I am hoping to carry the momentum of that as I felt pretty focused and in a good spot.

"If I can keep that chain of thought going it will suit me well."
