While the Las Vegas sportsbooks were offering Tiger Woods at 7/2 odds and Rory McIlroy at 11/2, online gambling websites the likes of Bookmaker.eu offered much more enticing prices: Woods at 4/1 and McIlroy at better than 5/1 for example.

Granted, Phil Mickelson’s price was reduced fairly substantially online when compared to the Vegas odds. You would only bet paid out $80 on a $10 bet at Bookmaker.eu compared to $120 if in Vegas, which most of you will not be.
To be fair, a few of the Vegas sportsbooks were offering McIlroy as high as 7/1.
The online books tend to get more aggressive as the odds get longer. For example, while one Vegas sportsbook was offering Lee Westwood with 15/1 odds, Bookmaker had him at 17/1. Martin Kaymer pays $500 for every $10 bet compared to $400 in Vegas.
Bookmaker.eu, which has been serving the North American sports bettor since 1985 and is generally considered the place where “the line originates”, was actually a tad late getting these US Masters odds up.
