For those of you contemplating betting on the 2012 US Masters, the favorites to win actually pay out pretty generously should they actually take home the trophy. WagerWeb.com, which has been operating since 1994 (formerly running the Aruba Wyndham Hotel and Casino sportsbook), has Tiger Woods the slight favorite at +450 (with a payout potential of $45 on every $10 bet or $450 for every $100 bet) and Rory McIlroy at +550 odds (paying out $55 on a $10 bet should he win).
Phil Mickelson was the only other contender with single-digit odds, with the promise to pay out $85 for every $10 bet should he win.
For those of you seeking the big payouts, there are approximately 30 golfers who would pay $10,000 to $20,000 on a $100 bet. These include the likes of Trevor Immelman Thomas Bjorn and Greg Couples.
We should also note that all top 20 favorites but Woods, McIlroy and Mickelson will pay $1000 to $5000 on a $100 bet.
