As usual, Riviera will bring out the international stars, as World No. 1 Luke Donald, Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia, among others, will make their 2012 Tour debut this week. Here’s a look at our best bets…

Kevin Na (20/1): It seems like Na has been building up to this week. He’s gone T5 each of the past two weeks and is coming off back-to-back top-10s at Riviera, including a solo third last year.  The payout would be $2000 on a $100 bet.

Luke Donald (15/1): You have to like the World No. 1, especially his short game on this course. But keep in mind that Donald missed the cut here a year ago. He went top-5 in each of his final four Tour starts last season, including a win at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.  A $100 bet would pay out $1500.

Phil Mickelson (12/1): It was vintage lefty at Pebble Beach, as Mickelson shot a final-round 64 and cruised to a two-stroke victory. He won at Riviera in 2008 and ’09 and is the all-time money leader at the Northern Trust.

Aaron Baddeley (30/1): Last week was a good sign for Baddeley’s repeat hopes at Riviera, as he’s coming off an excellent week at Pebble Beach. He led the AT&T Pro-Am in birdies en route to a fourth-place finish. The Aussie is 11th on the Tour in putting (1.073 stokes gained) in the early going.  A $100 bet pays $3000

Dustin Johnson (20/1): Johnson looked healthy and strong last week at Pebble Beach, posting a T5 despite some slip-ups after his opening round 63. He’s gone top-10 at Riviera in two of the past three years.
