Nick Chubb will pay out even odds for an anytime touchdown in Monday night's doubleheader between Tampa Bay and Houston.
Chubb took 13 carries for 60 yards while failing to bring in his only target in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Rams.
From Rotowire:
ANALYSIS
Chubb was the Texans' lead back as expected Sunday, receiving 10 more carries than the next running back on the depth chart. The 29-year-old flashed glimpses of his former All-Pro form with a healthy average of 4.6 yards per carry. Catastrophic injuries derailed the end of Chubb's tenure with Cleveland, but a clean bill of health could result in a career renaissance with Houston. With Joe Mixon (foot/ankle) still without a timetable to return, Chubb is worth a look against the Buccaneers next Monday if he went overlooked in drafts.
"He's tough," Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said of Chubb. "I mean, anytime you face him, he's going to be tough. He's hard to bring down. He has very good eyes. He's not just a tough runner. He can see. He understands. He sets up his blocks up. He's a football player; he's an old school football player, and that's always tough."
Bucs Bucky Irving rushed 14 times for 37 yards and brought in all four targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 23-20 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
He promises a payout of $120 for scoring a touchdown at any point during Monday night's game and $550 for every $100 bet to score the first touchdown.
From Rotowire:
ANALYSIS
Both Irving and Falcons counterpart Bijan Robinson were stymied by the opposing front seven, but each also found a way to get into the end zone as a receiver. Irving's nine-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter was particularly critical for his fantasy day, as it prevented what would have otherwise been a total washout in that regard. Irving also saw a bit of a lesser rushing workload than might have been expected in the back-and-forth affair, and he could have an uphill climb to an efficient performance again in a Week 2 Monday night road matchup against the Texans on Sept. 15.
