Aaron Rodgers will not be returning.  That's what the oddsmakers believe and they've made it a near "lock" not to happen.

BetOnline posted the following odds on Tuesday:

No                    1/5       (-500)

Yes                   3/1       (+300)

What does 1/5 mean for some of you novices out there?

It's the Tennessee Vols beating the Georgia Bulldogs this coming weekend, almost.  Georgia is a little greater than a -400 money line favorite in that one.  The Vols are not a bad team by any stretch of the imagination but the Bulldogs have won two national championships, an SEC Championship, and over that stretch are winners of 27 straight games.

The Dallas Cowboys beating the lowly Carolina Panthers in the NFL this coming weekend is priced at -600.

Aaron Rodgers returning this season is around a 20 percent chance.  It can happen but it probably will not.

Believe in Rodgers and you might want to bet the YES on returning and get paid $300 for every $100 wagered.

Making an appearance on the "The Pat McFee Show" Tuesday, Rodgers said "I'm gonna be back there full time real soon.

"The plan has been, once we got to Thanksgiving, was to be back there full time."

Rodgers injured his left ankle on just his fourth offensive snap in Week 1 after being sacked by Bills' defensive end Leonard Floyd.  It was later revealed he suffered from a an Achilles tendon rupture and underwent surgery.
