24-year-old Justin Thomas broke the record for the lowest score-to-par in any round at the U.S. Open with a 9-under 63, eagling the 18th hole to end the third round. He had the clubhouse lead at -11 as of late Saturday afternoon with a payout potential of $3500 on a $100 bet for those who got in on Thomas early should he ultimately go on to win this year’s U.S. Open come Sunday evening.
