Christie Says Trump Will Enter Plea: Payout for Doing So Still $250 on a $100 Bet

Speaking on MSNBC's Morning Joe Tuesday morning, former New Jersey Governor and Republican candidate for 2024, Chris Christie, predicts that former US President Donald Trump will enter into a plea deal.  The US Justice Department indicted Trump for the mishandling of classified documents he maintained at his Palm Beach, Florida home.

BetOnline currently has the odds of Trump entering a plea deal at +250 for a payout potential of $250 on a $100 bet.

"I'm telling you, no matter what he says, no matter how he's bragging and goin' on and on about him not being afraid, he goes to bed every night thinking about the sound of that jail cell door closing behind him," Christie insisted.

Christie is now polling above 5 percent in most polls now and is almost certain to make the debate stage.  He also insists that Trump's "ego will not let him get in the way of participating in the debate".   Trump, who leads by double digits in nearly all polls, has not committed to taking part in the GOP debates.

Christie has only made slight gains at BetOnline (down from 50-1 to 40-1) in recent weeks.
