Following the surprise signing of Brett Favre Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings odds to win the 2009 NFC North have been slashed to an even price at SBG Global.  Previously, the Vikings were sitting around +150 odds.  And while the half point difference may not seem like a whole lot, it means the world in this very tight division.

Unfortunately, these same oddsmakers have not seen fit to increase the payout potential for the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, both of whom are likely to improve in 2009.

The Bears would still pay $165 for every $100 bet.  The Packers would pay out $170 for every $100 bet.

The 2008 "no-win" Detroit Lions were listed at +1850 to win the 2009 NFC North.  Lest we forget the Miami Dolphins only won a single game in 2007 and managed to win the AFC East last season.
