San Diego Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills betting odds opened at a pick and they remain at even odds.

The home team in this series has won 6 of the last 7 though we should point out that San Diego won last year as a 6 point away favorite. That win was by a mere 3 points. San Diego looked impressive last weekend but they have not played up to expectations the rest of this season. By contrast, Buffalo has a 4-1 record and has exceeded expectations to date.

The Chargers have beaten the Bills in six of the last eight matchups, and lead the overall series, 20-9-2.

Bills QB Trent Edwards is expected to play Sunday, having had two weeks to recover from a concussion suffered in the first quarter of Week 5. Edwards had been solid during the first four weeks of the season, completing 66.4 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and two interceptions.

San Diego's three passing plays of 40-plus yards against the Patriots (without Chris Chambers, no less) should be a little disconcerting for the Bills, who could be without a couple key defensive backs. Starting CB Terrence McGee is dealing with a sprained left knee, while safety Ko Simpson is recovering from a hamstring injury.

San Diego has not been overly impressive on the road. That point is contradictory to their Against The Spread performance which has them at 6-1-1 however. The Chargers are 5-0-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. San Diego is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win. They are also 36-16-3 ATS in their last 55 vs. AFC.

The Bills, meanwhile, are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a bye week. They are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 home games and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a SU loss of more than 14 points.

Historic trends seem to favor San Diego here but we are not convinced as the Bills have shown great fortitude this season. Injuries - mostly to the Buffalo team - have Gambling911.com sitting on the sidelines for what should be a very good game. No pick here.
