Payout Odds to Win the 2026 Masters: Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Xander Schauffele

Sam Burns sat atop the Masters leaderboard on Friday morning.

Burns started the 2026 Masters with pre-tournament odds around +6600 to +10000. After co-leading the first round with a 5-under 67, his odds dramatically improved to +1000 or +1200 heading into Friday.

Rory McIlroy is sitting near the top of the leader board and enters the 2026 Masters as the defending champion, with betting odds to win again ranging between +1100 and +1300.

A McIlroy win would leave the sportsbooks heavily exposed as he was seeing significant volume early on.

The 36-year-old McIlroy opened his title defense with a 5-under 67 to claim a share of the early lead with Burns at Augusta National and position himself for a run at becoming only the fourth player to win back-to-back Masters.

“I know that I can go to the Champions Locker Room and put my green jacket on and have a Coke Zero at the end of the day,” McIlroy said.

McIlroy said last year's win allowed him to fully commit to his shots Thursday and make good swings without necessarily worrying about where the ball went.

Kurt Kitayama's was high up in the standings heading into Thursday afternoon of the 2026 Masters.

Hi payout odds to win the 2026 Masters Tournament are generally listed around +15000 (or 150/1 to 200/1 in some markets). That is a payout potential of $15000 for every $100 bet.

Others hanging around near the top of the leaderboard Friday morning included Shane Lowry, whose odds of winning entering Thursday morning were roughly +6600 to +7000 for a payout potential of around $7000 on an every $100 bet.

Xander Schauffele also performed strongly heading into Friday's round.

Schauffele entered with odds around +1400 to +1800 to win.
