The Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings NFL betting odds opened at Minnesota -3.  Since that time the line has moved all the way down to -2.  By Wednesday night most online sportsbooks had this one at -2 ½ .  Sports Interaction was one book that had the line at Vikings -2.

Green Bay is 7-3 in this series but more telling they are 5-0 over the last five games in this series.  The two teams split their record Against The Spread.

Only one of Minnesota's wins were by more than 3 points we should note.

The Packers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 road games.   They are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. loss.  The Vikings, meanwhile, are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.

Even the Minneapolis papers seem to agree that this one is tilted in Green Bay's favor.  Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

Recent evidence appears to be in the Packers' favor. Both the Vikings' Brad Childress and Green Bay's Mike McCarthy took over as coaches in 2006, when the Vikings led the series 45-44-1.

Since then, McCarthy is 5-0 against Childress, 25-15 overall and led his team to a 13-3 record and the NFC Championship Game last season. Childress has yet to have a winning season with the Vikings and is 18-22 overall.

While we would love to see Green Bay as a +3 or bigger underdog, we here at Gambling911.com are still liking the Packers in this spot as +2 ½ underdogs and that is one of our picks for this week.  Be sure to check out Gambling911.com here for free picks throughout the day EVERY DAY.
