The Professional Golf Association’s second major of the year takes place this weekend.

The 2017 US Open betting should provide plenty of action to pay per head agents.

Check out 2017 US Open odds before information about betting action.

How Much Action on Favorites?

In golf, it’s rare that a less than double-digit favorite wins any PGA Tournament, much less a major tournament.

Any golfer offering odds less than 30 to 1 should be considered a favorite. That’s how difficult it is to win a single PGA Tour event.

Per head agents shouldn’t expect a ton of bets on Dustin Johnson. He’s the lone golfer offering less than double-digit odds.

Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, and Jason Day should attract some dollars. Out of the three, Spieth figures to be the golfer that most players jump on.

Not only has Spieth been the best overall golfer the past couple of years, he’s gotten the most press. Both casual and pro players are going to ride with Spieth this weekend.

The most interesting favorite is Jon Rham. The Spaniard offers lower odds than fellow Spaniard, Sergio Garcia.

Garcia won the Master Tournament in April. Rham didn’t even make the cut in his last tournament in the U.S., the Memorial Tournament.

Someone in Vegas, or overseas, must have placed a few bucks on Rham.

All agents should pay attention to action on Rham.

How Much Action on Dogs?

There are several golfers offering above 30 to 1 odds that can win the 2017 U.S. Open.

Among those golfers are South Africans Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen. Both Schwartzel and Oosthuizen are at 50 to 1.

Other name golfers offering high-odds are Martin Kaymer, Jason Dufner, Matt Kuchar, and Bubba Watson. Kaymer, Dufner, Kuchar, and Watson are all at 66 to 1.

One golfer to keep an eye on is Patrick Reed at 80 to 1. His odds to win the Masters Tournament were much, much lower than that.

Reed could turn his form around at the drop of a hat. That makes him dangerous at the U.S. Open odds.

Pay per head agents should set max betting limits on all golfing interests to win the U.S. Open.

Max betting limits should even be placed on Johnson at +750. Agents should be aware that if Reed wins the US Open at 80 to 1, the payout for the U.S. Open betting on a $100 bet is $8,000.

Per head agents must make sure max betting limits are in place. Also, agents should set schedule limit overrides if they’ve already received enough action on the U.S. Open Golf Tournament.

Have the Right Partner

Per head agents with the right partners on their side will have no problem finding all the right tools and reports they need for the U.S. Open this weekend.

PayPerHead.com offers all the tools mentioned and more in order to grow a bookies sportsbook, and make a bigger profit.

Get PayPerHead’s prime package for half the price for a limited time only. That’s $6.50 per head. Having the right tools and features will make it easy to keep a profit during the slow season.
