The LSU Tigers will play another team named the Bulldogs this week, and if it’s anything like the last week’s effort, it’s going to be a long game for them. Mississippi State is looking to take out the Tigers in this match up as they are 2 – 2 on the season.

Current line: LSU – 10 / Over & Under at 44

Time:  Saturday, October 5, 7:00 pm (EST) ESPN, Watchespn.com

In order for the Tigers to win big here, they will have to make sure that the defense is doing their job. If they are not physical in this game, you’ll find that the Bulldogs will run right over the LSU team. If you look at last week’s effort, you will find that Aaron Murray was left without any sacks, that’s right, none. LSU cannot play that way this week, as they need to bring pressure to the quarterback straight way, or else things are not going to look good for them at all. Not only that, they need to make sure that they are pushing their kind of game on the team, so that they can move forward with relative ease.

Mississippi State has met Georgia before and they have managed to not only make the games interesting, but have even kept them within arm’s reach into the late stages. Look for the Bulldogs to finally punch in a victory if they can get their run game established. They absolutely need to ensure that they are running hard and fast, or else they will not be able to make an impact. They also need to be able to make the plays work for them, and not let go of the challenge so easily. The offense needs to be a well-oiled machine if they want to have a chance against an LSU team that can definitely bring on the hurt fast.

The Match Up:

The LSU offensive line has to do a good job overall, or else they are not going to be doing hot against the Bulldogs yet again. Look for the critical changes in the front line to allow for better movement for the quarterback, and allow the Tigers to get into a groove for scoring. If they play like last week, than Mississippi State will get the win and do so in grand fashion. Even with all the problems that plagued the Tigers last week, we’re going with them as the favorite at – 10.

The Edge:

LSU – 10

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: LSU – 10
