Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts will be going forward to battle the Houston Texans this week in a game that will be quite interesting to say the least. The two will be fighting it out at Reliant Stadium and could be a very good test for the Colts.

Current line: Indianapolis Colts – 2 / Over & Under at 47 ½

Time:  Sunday, November 3, 8:30 pm (EST) NBC, NFL Red Zone

The Houston Texans have shown some steady defense at times, even though their record doesn’t match up to the Colts this point in the season. The game will have a well-rested Indiana team that can make opponents pay on both sides of the football. Prior to this past week’s bye week for them, they were able to knock down the Denver Broncos a peg, even though Peyton Manning seemed to receive a hero’s welcome. Andrew Luck will be working hard again to pass through another stellar game and he’s not going to be easy to stop.

Meanwhile, the Texans are coming into this game with a losing streak, but that doesn’t mean they can’t stop any forward momentum on the football. They are ranked number one on defense in the NFL and have some major offensive weapons to help them prevail. Their quarterback Case Keenum will need to be a lot better than he has in the past or we may be seeing a very easy game for the Colts. Houston can and has played very well in the past and when they are firing on all cylinders, they make some great plays, but against Indianapolis, they’ll need to do more than they have in the recent week’s games.

The Match Up

Rankings don’t mean a whole lot to some, but they are still relevant here. Even with a rested Andrew Luck and the rest of the team, they are going to need to bring their best here, because the Texans will capitalize on any lazy gameplay. They have in the past and that’s why they’re ranked so high in each category. Look for this game to get out of hand in the third quarter as Andrew Luck takes the win here, but not without a good fight up front from Houston. Indianapolis gets -2 here and will showcase some serious strength overall.
