Donald Trump

Donald Trump's decision to engage in war with Iran has directly impacted his chances to take home the Nobel Peace Prize in December.

A negative impact, of course.

We sent out Nobel odds last on January 20, and at that time Trump was a 5/1 favorite. His current odds have slipped to 16/1 at BetOnline.ag.

Sudan's Emergency Response Rooms, which was second on the board at 6/1 in January, is now the favorite at 2/1.

Medicins Sans Frontiers is third on the board at 4/1 and Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the only other option with better than 10/1 odds.

The spirit of the prize, according to founder Alfred Nobel, is to award the recipient "who has done the most or best to advance fellowship among nations."
