Andrew Oldham

Last week, it was confirmed that Justice Samuel Alito received medical attention after falling ill last month.

Alito is the Supreme Court's second-oldest member at 76. The news above has fueled speculation about Alito's retirement.

Justice Clarence Thomas is 77, and there are rumors that he could also step down this year.

Oddsmakers are now projecting who will be named as the next appointed Supreme Court Justice should either Alito or Thomas retire.

BetOnline.ag has made Andrew Oldham the favorite with 2/1 odds.

Aileen Cannon is second on the board at 4/1, while Amul Thapar, James Ho and Emil Bove all have better than 10/1 chances.

There are 18 candidates on the list below.

It’s also worth noting that Vegas believes there will be two new justices appointed before the next president is elected. Zero replacements is a longshot at 14/1.
