Poker Pro Jon Aguiar is done!  Well, at least for now.  We all know how these retirements go (a la Gus Hansen, who came close to retiring anyway).

There are success stories on the poker pro retirement front though.  We have Joe Sebok seemingly having a good time crushing grapes and he is yet to return to the game.

Annie Duke is MIA as are other more notorious poker pros the likes of Chris Ferguson and Russ Hamilton, or else they are keeping a very low profile.  Neither have officially announced any plans to retire from poker.  It’s just been assumed they were forced to do so.

As for Aguiar, those of you who regularly follow the Gambling911.com website remember him for last year’s controversy in which a World Series of Poker rep lambasted the man via Twitter.  Former WSOP Twitter administrator Seth Palansky went on to call Aguiar “a complete bitch”.

Aguiar made his “retirement” official on Twitter Wednesday:

It's official, I'm retiring from poker to move to Boston and work full time with @DraftKings #StartupLife

So he’s not actually retiring per se, he’s just moving on to bigger and better things.

DraftKings.com is a fantasy sports site started by two other professional poker players.  Aquiar has managed to win $30,000 off the DraftKings.com website.
