Yet that's not stopping Real Madrid fans from demanding his exit. They've even been signing an online petition to make sure this happens.

The 27-year-old was given time off to recover from a thigh injury sustained last month, but he was spotted vacationing in Italy with his partner.
That sparked a huge reaction from the fans, who questioned his commitment to the club.
As for that petition, it's not immediately clear if all 40 million signatories are Madrid fans or whether many people signed multiple times.
