While not a "lock" per se, Sean Penn is a pretty strong favorite to win Best Actor for his role in One Battle After Another. He is priced at -320. One would need to bet $32 to win $10 and that $32 is also refunded just as long as he is a winner.
Penn is no stranger to Oscar nominations. He was first nominated in 1996 for Best Actor in Dead Man Walking, then again in 2000 for Best Actor for Sweet and Lowdown and then in 2002 for I Am Sam, another Best Actor nomination.
He finally won in 2004 for Mystic River and again in 2009 for Milk, both Best Actor nominations.
This will be his first nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
