The axe finally fell for an NHL coach yesterday. Last season, the first coach got fired in late November when the Bruins let go Jim Montgomery.
The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag had odds for first coach fired (before the season) and Andrew Brunette was the favorite.
Dean Evanson, who was fired by the Columbus Blue Jackets yesterday, was 33/1 to be the first coach fired.
BetOnline.ag have updated next coach to be fired odds and Travis Green is the favorite followed by Ryan Huska and Jim Hiller.
