Shane Mosley was listed with +300 or 3/1 odds ahead of this Saturday's fight against undefeated Floyd Mayweather, Jr. at betED.com (see website here).

"This is shaping up to be an epic bout but the fight is still seen as lopsided and Mosley would pay out $300 for every $100 wagered," says Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Shane Mosley says he's ready to unleash a mountain of trouble on Floyd Mayweather Jr., the LA Times reports.

"Getting ready for a fight means going to war. This is the hurt business. I can't accept a thought like, ‘This might be my last fight,' or ‘I'm getting old.' "

He added:  "(Mayweather) is a great fighter.  I'm the best in the world."

Heavy action was already coming in on this fight with a few days left until what is likely going to be a Biblical day of betting.  Shane Mosley vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. follows the biggest single day betting event of the day earlier that evening, the Kentucky Derby.

"The (online) sportsbooks will likely make much of their spring/summer revenue this one weekend," Shapiro says.

Originally, this was to be a fight between Mayweather and Filipino sensation Manny Pacquiao.

The Mayweather camp wanted random blood testing by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, whereas Pacquiao refused to have any blood testing within 30 days from the fight, because he thought it would weaken him, but he was willing to have blood taken from him before the 30-day window as well as immediately after the fight.  Freddie Roach, on the other hand, commented that he would not allow blood to be taken from Pacquiao one week before the fight.  In an attempt to resolve their differences, the two camps went through a process of mediation before a retired judge. After the mediation process Mayweather agreed to a 14-day no blood testing window, however, Pacquiao refused and instead only agreed to a 24-day no blood testing window.  Consequently, on January 7, 2010, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum declared that the fight was officially off.

Gambling911.com will feature extensive betting coverage on Mosley vs. Mayweather throughout the week.
