He lay on the field for several minutes and required help to get up. Burleson then limped off, favoring his left leg, and trainers iced his left knee on the bench.
The Seahawks announced that Burleson was out for the game, the injury further depleting the team's already banged-up receiving corps. Seattle began the season opener minus two starters: Deion Branch (knee) and Bobby Engram (shoulder).
