The video of an incident that occurred July 5 in Vegas where singer Britney Spears claims that she was assaulted by security for San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has finally come out and it's pretty damning.

The video clearly shows Spears approaching the player and a hand reaches out to smack her across the face.  Allegations that she grabbed Wembanyama do not seem substantiated by this video.

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports writes:

"I don't know what I was expecting Britney video to look like but I guess it looks exactly like how I shoulda expected. Got to be honest. Tough to critique security. Britney had crazy cat lady vibes running up to him. But it's still Britney bitch."

David Loud, a hip-hop viral news reporter, called it out for what it was.

"Video footage of Britney Spears getting struck in the face by Victor Wembanyama’s security guard after she tapped him on the shoulder to ask for a photo (TMZ)."

And Pop Base tweeted what we see, "she tapped him on the shoulder".

The video was released exclusively by TMZ Friday afternoon.

I Love Britney tweeted that the pop star dealt with this type of thing all the time and never assaulted anybody.

TMZ.com own headline reads Britney Spears Video of Slap Shows She Tapped Victor ... Never Grabbed Him.

Oddly, Vegas Police claim Britney struck herself, which the video clearly does not seem to indicate.
