Patrick Kane to the Buffalo Sabres Odds

Blackhawks star Patrick Kane trade betting odds are hot right now.  Favorites to land him included the Oilers at 3-1, Avalanche at +350 and Rangers at 4-1.

The Buffalo Sabres would pay out $750 on a $100 bet should they get Kane.

Buffalo makes perfect sense too, and with great betting value to boot.

Kane grew up in Buffalo before moving to Michigan as a teen.

The Sabres also lack a legitimate superstar.

What they do have is plenty of hot prospects to offer Chicago in return for Kane.

Additionally they have enough cap space to honor his contract.

At 80-1 odds of winning a Stanley Cup, Buffalo might not have much appeal for Kane.

The Blackhawks are almost certain to trade their superstar as they focus on rebuilding the franchise and reducing salary.  The team began its firesale a few weeks back.

Both Kane and Jonathan Toews have full no-movement clause, so each controls their own future.

Toews has stated that the Blackhawks rebuilding process has little appeal to him.

"At the end of the day, we're talking about a five-plus-year process, according to (general manager) Kyle [Davidson]," the Blackhawks captain told The Athletic on Tuesday. "So that part of it doesn't sound appealing to me at all."
