This will include a mixture of online and offline events.

The league confirmed a change in the format of the four 2022 Majors, as it will now include all 12 teams. The league had previously announced that only eight teams would qualify for these LAN events.

The Kickoff Classic will be a LAN event running from the 21st to the 23rd January, being held in the Esports Stadium in Arlington Texas.

As of now, the Majors will be played on LAN at different locations across North America with “dates and locations tentative,” according to the league.  This is due to ongoing concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.

Call of Duty League (CDL) is a professional esports league for the video game series Call of Duty, produced by its publisher Activision.  The League was announced in 2019 with its inaugural season starting in 2020 and incorporates a tournament point system and playoffs format.
