How the Books Made Out With the 2018 NFL Draft

Just as some NFL teams were winners and others were losers with this year's Draft, the bookmakers had their big wins and losses as well.  In the end, however, the books offering NFL Draft odds were big losers.

Dave Mason of BetOnline provided this recap Saturday:

Best #NFLDraft prop for the house was Bradley Chubb Over 4.5. Worst for the house was Baker Mayfield #1 overall. The loss on Mayfield was 5x greater than the win on Chubb. I.e. - Draft was very profitable for the public. Congrats

Now with the Cleveland Browns, Mayfield began his college football career as a walk-on player for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
