Penn State vs. Purdue - What the Line Should Be

Tony Caliente, Gambling911.com resident bookmaking expert here, with a look at the Penn State vs. Purdue betting line and what that number actually should be.

For the third time this season, the Nittany Lions upset the Buckeyes -- and this one was the biggest of the three, earning Penn State on Friday a spot in the Big Ten tournament semifinals Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The line on this game was coming in at Boilermakers -8 on a neutral court.

The College Basketball Betting Power Ratings suggest the line should be Purdue -8.5.

While they've won the last six in this series, the past two have been well within the current spread.  Still, I believe Purdue just manages a cover here - perhaps by 9 points - based on recent history and the slight edge in the Power Ratings.
