Winner of the 2012 One Drop and its $18 million grand prize, a now penny-less and hungry Antonio Esfandiari had to resort to begging for money at the Las Vegas Airport in order to buy lunch.

There was a time when homeless people ran amuck in airports prior to 9-11.  No reports of Esfandiari rummaging through the garbage at least

But alas, we’re happy to report that Esfandiari is not homeless. It’s just that the poker pro arrived at Las Vegas’s McCarran Airport without any cash or credit cards in his wallet.  We've all done that.  NOT!!!!!

He Tweeted:

I kid u not I found myself at LV airport right now w ZERO cash and no CC - and starving - what did I do ?!? Walked around until I found a...

Poker fan n asked him to borrow 30$ He could not believe it !! Now I get to eat and he will be paid back in spades TY

We are assuming he got to his destination all right as this incident occurred on Wednesday (two days ago).

But there is only one word we can say in response to this story:

DOH!!!!!
