Zoltan Gal from Hungary has won the first ever Eureka Poker Tour event held in Vienna for €208,655. The 27-year-old was the last man standing in the record-breaking event after beating Austria's Andreas Freund heads up. The pair cut a deal with €10k, the trophy and the title left to play for. Gal eventually grabbed it all meaning he scored a €208,655 payday while Freund gained a €174,655 reward. It has been record-breaking event back-to-back beating Prague's December stop by 117 players with 1,432-player field

Robert Malinowski was the first player to leave the final table; he was eliminated in the very fist hand of the day followed by Erik Scheidt and Stavros Kalfas who finished seventh and sixth respectively.
Markus Stoger started as a chip leader but bust in fifth place.

American online pro Bryan Paris managed to score his best live result with a 4th place finish for €72,230.
The three handed play then slowed down when Freund twice doubled through Blazej Przygorzewski who eventually fell in 3rd place.

Zoltan Gal started the heads up as a 3-1 favourite but Andreas Freund picked up few pots before the duo decided to discuss a deal. Zoltan Gal is Hungary's third Eureka winner (Richard Bodis and Achilles Bozso are the others). This triumph has brought Hungary to the top of Eureka's ranking; no other country has three Eureka champs.
