TEAM POKERSTARS PRO JOHNNY LODDEN LEADS FOR DAY 3 OF EPT GRAND FINAL

Norwegian Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden is leading the field for Day 3 of the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final with 605,200 in chips. There are now just 105 players left in the €10,600 tournament including a big number of Team PokerStars Pros - Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier, Jake Cody, Victor Ramdin, Ville Wahlbeck, Marcin Horecki, Chad Brown, Toni Judet, Christophe De Meulder and Alex Kravchenko as well as PokerStars Team Online's Mickey Petersen, Randy Lew and Tatiana Barausova. Other players going into Day 3 with decent stacks include serial qualifier Calvin Anderson (2nd), Noah Schwartz (3rd), Steve O'Dwyer, Freddy Deeb and Paul Volpe.

There were 531 players from 55 countries at this season's Grand Final creating a €5,310,000 prize pool. The winner will take home a massive €1,224,000 first prize, as well as a stunning watch worth more than €5,000 from luxury Swiss brand Slyde, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT9 Main Events. The top 80 spots are set to pay out, with a min-cash worth €16,000.

The festival is running from May 6-15 and features 50 events including the €100k Super High Roller, €25k High Roller and first ever €500,000 guaranteed €1,000 Monaco Cup.
