The New York Giants are slight favorites to win the 2009 Super Bowl at betED.com where they were listed with +350 odds for a $350 payout on every $100 bet. The Tennessee Titans, who were the only undefeated team heading into Week 9, were listed with +400 odds for a $400 payout on a $100 bet.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers were the only other single digit odds favorites to win the 2009 Super Bowl. Pittsburgh would pay $550 on a $100 bet, Carolina would pay $800.
The oddsmakers are starting to rediscover love for the New England Patriots, who are now listed with +1200 odds to win the 2009 Super Bowl. Other teams with +1200 odds for a $1200 payout on every $100 bet included the underachieving San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas was initially the favorite to win the 2009 Super Bowl and these odds are the best that could be found on the Cowboys so far this season.
Oddsmakers refuse to believe that the Indianapolis Colts will not have a shot at the big game despite a losing record. They had odds of +1600.
Probably some of the best value we could find was on the Buffalo Bills to win the 2009 Super Bowl at +1800 odds for a payout of $1800 on every $100 bet.
Also, the Atlanta Falcons might be worth a small bet. They were at +8000 odds at betED.com to win the 2009 Super Bowl. That's an $8000 payout for every $100 bet and considering this team is above .500, that's really good value. A $10 bet would pay $800 as an FYI.
