"I wouldn't think that we've accomplished any goals yet because all of our goals are ahead of us," coach Jim Zorn said. "The only goal we've attained is we've won more games than we've lost."
That's not exactly the case after three straight victories over NFC contenders that followed their listless opening loss at the New York Giants, but Zorn's players are intent on not buying into the Redskins being the next big thing, especially not with Sunday's opponent, the talented Eagles in Philadelphia.
Some rankings sites now have the Washington Redskins in first place and perhaps with good reason.
Jason Campbell is yet to turn the ball over coming into Sunday‘s game. The Redskins' only turnover was a fumbled punt return by Antwaan Randle El.
Santana Moss also has his health and form back.
Campbell has definitely taken notice during recent practice sessions.
"You could just see the way he was moving, the stuff he was doing out there, that he was feeling good again and he knew it," Campbell told the Washington Post. "It wasn't just one day or one thing, it was everything and every day. We didn't talk about it a lot because anything can happen in this game, but you knew everybody else would see it eventually."

Slowed by numerous injuries the previous two seasons, Moss is physically sound again and has returned to the form that enabled him to set a franchise receiving record in the 2005 season. He has re-emerged among the league's top deep threats in his eighth season in the league, and, more importantly for the Redskins, has become the go-to receiver, playing a key role in Campbell's impressive performance this season.
That secret hasn't been told to online odds makers just yet apparently.
At SBG Global, the Redskins were listed with odds of +3500 to win the 2009 Super Bowl heading into Sunday‘s game against Philadelphia. That's a payout potential of $3500 for every $100 bet.
"That is some of the best value we've seen thus far this season," declared Don Shapiro, sports writer for the Gambling911.com website.
