September 16, 2016 - Two men have been charged in what is believed to be the first prosecution involving gambling in video games. The BBC reports that Dylan Rigby and Craig Douglas, who are both from Essex in the United Kingdom, have been charged by the Gambling Commission with promoting a lottery and advertising unlawful gambling.  Douglas is also charged with encouraging minors to gamble.
