Malik Willis

A new quarterback and coach don’t always equate to an upgraded outlook...especially in the eyes of the oddsmakers.

We saw that first hand today as the Dolphins' Super Bowl and AFC chances moved in the other direction following the signing of Malik Willis.

"The movement isn't solely predicated on the Willis signing as many of the AFC teams made impactful deals that significantly hurt Miami's chances of contending in 2026," BetOnline.ag Sportsbook Manager Adam Burns said. "But we aren't automatically going to assume Willis is an upgrade over Tua. The guy's been a perennial backup and nothing he's done in spot starts has overly impressed us."

BetOnline.ag moved the Dolphins' Super Bowl from 150/1 to 200/1 on Monday. Their odds to win the AFC went from 90/1 to 125/1. Miami's division odds remained unchanged at 20/1 (tied with the Jets).

The Rams are now Super Bowl favorites after opening with the third-best odds back on February 9. The Rams went from 10/1 to currently 15/2 (+750) following their couple of cornerback deals.

Baltimore's title odds also improved after the Maxx Crosby deal, going from 11/1 to 10/1 (they did lose their Pro Bowl center).

Here are the latest Super Bowl numbers following a frenetic first day of "signings:"
