This NFC Wild Card:  Eagles vs. Cowboys betting preview is brought to you by SBG Global.

Saturday, 8:05 pm Eastern - NBC

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys play a quick rematch in the NFC Wild Card game on Saturday night as they just met on this same field less than a week ago to end the regular season.  That game was not a good one for the Eagles as they were blown out 24-0.  The loss cost the Eagles a first round bye and home field advantage. Now they have to find a way to play a lot better than they did last week in order to beat the Cowboys.

Dallas is a 4-point favorite with a total of 45 at SBG Global.

Nothing went right for the Eagles in last week's loss. "They played better than we played," Philadelphia coach Andy Reid said. "They coached better than we coached. You get back to business and you do it in a very matter-of-fact way. If you get caught up in all the what ifs and this and that, then you're making a mistake."

While the Cowboys have the confidence of winning against the Eagles last week they do not have the confidence of playoff success. Dallas has not won a playoff game since 1996 and even though they are playing well right now, the stigma of no playoff wins still hangs over them. There could be a lot of overreaction to last week's game going on.  The Eagles had won six straight before last week's loss. They were fifth in the league in points scored and considered a real threat in the NFC until last week.

Dallas will be trying to beat the Eagles for the third time this NFL Betting season.  There have been 19 previous occasions where teams met in the playoffs after one team swept the other.  The team looking for the three-game sweep has gone 12-7 in those situations.  That would favor Dallas except the Cowboys have failed in that situation twice in the past. This is the fourth time the Eagles and Cowboys will be meeting in the playoffs. The Eagles won in 1981 while the Cowboys won in 1993 and in 1996.

The Eagles are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 playoff games as an underdog. The Eagles are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 playoff road games. The Eagles are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 meetings in Dallas.

The Cowboys are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 playoff games.

The Under is 7-2-1 in the Eagles last 10 NFL Betting playoff games. The Under is 4-0 in the Cowboys last 4 games as a home favorite. The Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Dallas between the two teams.
