The New York Giants entered Week 3 as the second biggest favorite to win the 2010 Super Bowl.  The Giants odds were only longer than the New England Patriots at SBG Global, which featured payout odds of $850 for every $100 bet.

"This is probably the week to bet the New York Giants to win the 2010 Super Bowl since their payout odds are going to be slashed further after Week 4," said Tyrone Black of Gambling911.com.

That's anticipated because the Giants will be in Kansas City next week followed by a game in the Meadowlands against Oakland before taking on the red hot New Orleans Saints on the road.

"It's possible you will still be able to get better than 6/1 odds when they are updated Thursday," Black suggests.  "Don't hold out because the Giants have a strong chance of sitting as favorites along with New England over the coming weeks since they'll be facing two subpar opponents."

The first of three consecutive games against so-called "sub-par" opponents began Sunday in Tampa Bay where the Giants shut out the Buccaneers.

The Giants posted their first shutout since Week 8 of 2005 and their first on the road since 1983.

Eli Manning threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns and has tied Fran Tarkenton for third on the Giants all-time list with 103 touchdown passes.

The Giants, who did not do a good job of stopping the run the previous two weeks, limited the Bucs to 28 yards on 10 carries.

The Giants are 3-0 for the second straight year and the third time this decade.
