Half time and quarter betting on the 2010 Super Bowl will be quite popular this year thanks to handheld devices such as iPhones and Blackberries along with the new Droid.

"Last year was the start of this new phenomenon where the casual bettor placed wagers throughout the Super Bowl via his or her Web-enabled phone," disclosed Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.  "In previous years, traffic would die down at the start of the Super Bowl.  Last year our traffic was off the charts throughout the game."

Speaking of halftime bets, betED.com was expected to release odds shortly on The Who performing and the rotation of songs.
