With the Sex and the City 2 premiere taking place Monday night, oddsmakers at BetUS.com were expecting the latest installment of the popular franchise to take in over $60 million in its first weekend at the box office.

Odds were similar for both the OVER and the UNDER, paying slightly below even, but the line placed was 60 million.

"If you bet Sex and the City 2 will take in more than 60 million dollars you will get $10 for every $13 bet," explains Gambling911.com's Payton O'Brien.  "Bet the under 60 million for $11 and receive $10."

The first Sex and the City film experienced huge commercial success and the oddsmakers are expecting a repeat performance.

Opening in 3,285 theaters, the film made $26.93 million in the US and Canada on its first day. The three-day opening weekend total was $57,038,404, aggregating $17,363 per theater.  The film recorded the biggest opening ever for an R-rated comedy and for a romantic comedy.
