MSU vs. Northwestern Betting Odds - January 17 College Basketball

Tony Caliente, Gambling911.com resident bookmaking expert, reveals what the line should be compared to the actual number in the MSU vs. Northwestern game.

Michigan St has won nine straight including a big 30-point win the last time out.  Northwestern comes in as +8.5 home underdog against number one Michigan State.

The opening line on this game was MSU -8.5 and the College Basketball Betting Power Ratings indicate this one is right on the money as the Spartans should actually be right at -9.

MSU has won the last eight in this series.  They have won by more than the current spread in four of the last six.  They have failed to cover using the current spread in the last two home games of this series however.
