Browns Division, Super Bowl Odds for 2022-23 Haven't Moved Yet

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's decision to settle 20 of 24 civil lawsuits for sexual misconduct could still result in a lengthy suspension by the NFL.

Houston attorney Tony Buzbee represents all 24 women.  He noted that, once the paperwork is finished on the 20 settlements, "those particular cases will be dismissed.”

Oddsmakers aren't worried.  BetOnline still have the Browns at 25-1 odds to win the Super Bowl and 3-1 to win the AFC North.

But one league official told the Associated Press that "settling doesn't give someone a pass".  He further indicated that a long suspension remains possible.

Watson was traded to the Browns on March 20 in exchange for the 13th and 107th overall selections in this year's draft.

Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield remains on the team but his future is not immediately known.  Oddsmakers initially had him favored to go to the Seahawks and Colts, each at 2-1 odds.
