70,000 Apple App Downloads in Four Days for Betr Ahead of Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz Fight

A whopping 70,000 Apple app downloads in four days were recorded for the Betr app ahead of Saturday's Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz bout.

Jake Paul's brother Logan is a co-owner of Betr and the site announced a partnership promotion ahead of what has become the most wagered on fight across the board.

This also came in conjunction with Betr's newly launched daily fantasy sports platform, which allowed it more market access in over 30 US states.

Betr Picks provides users with the ability to make “More” or “Less” fantasy entries for player lineups based on their projections and in that regard resembles other hybrid DFS platforms like PrizePicks and Underdog Fantasy.  Those sites have come under scrutiny recently as some state regulatory bodies believe these sites more closely resemble sports gambling.  Wyoming recently ordered PrizePicks and Underdog Fantasy to leave the state.

“We are thrilled to expand the Betr Gaming business by introducing our real money fantasy sports vertical with the launch of Betr Picks,” said Betr CEO and founder Joey Levy.

“Betr Picks allows us to acquire and engage real money gaming users across the United States, enabling Betr Gaming to more fully capitalize on the nationwide presence of Betr Media for the first time.”

The Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz fight was pure gold for the sportsbooks across the board.

Dave Mason of BetOnline: "Both bets and volume on Paul Diaz about 2x more than Spence Crawford."

Until Saturday, the Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford fight was the most bet on for the books.  That lasted for 7 days.
